Title: Maintenance Technician II

Job summary
Responsible for the maintenance and repair of all machinery
The incumbent is authorized to take reasonable action necessary to carry out assigned duties and responsibilities, provided such action is consistent with position guidelines as outlined below or through the exercise of sound, reasonable judgment and initiative in the performance of job responsibilities.
Position guidelines include, but are not limited to, established company and department policies and procedures and all supervisory directives.
Summary of essential job functions
1. Repair and maintain any appliances as instructed by the Maintenance Manager
2. Observe and follow all rules and guidelines for gas and electric equipment
Education/Experience Requirements
1. At least five years of experience in large kitchen machinery maintenance, and repairs including ovens, gas stoves, fryers, vent hoods, dishwashers, coolers, freezers, ice machines, and other kitchen equipment
2. Trade school education preferred
3. Extensive knowledge of parts and tools required to maintain equipment
4. HVAC experience required
Abilities Required
1. Ability to grasp, lift, or carry items weighing up to 50 lbs, occasionally waist high
2. Ability to perform tasks requiring bending, stooping and kneeling
3. Ability to deal with a number of problems requiring initiative and good judgment
