We are seeking a dependable and detailed oriented Maintenance Technician to be part of our company. As our Maintenance Technician, you must have proficient knowledge of general equipment maintenance to succeed in this role.

The sucessful candidate will also be trained to service and maintain swimming pools. Upon learning the pool service requirements, you may go to the customers’ locations, testing the pool water’s pH level, adding chlorine, acid, and other chemicals to correct the pH. Technicians will also service and repair broken equipment, pipe leaks and cracks, and light fittings.

Applicants must be able to work around and handle the proper administration of pool chemicals.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• General equipment maintenance and repair
• Truck maintenance such as changing lights, mud flaps etc.
• Desire to learn new skills
• Test pool water pH, alkalinity, CYA, and available chlorine levels and add chemicals to correct water pH and chlorine levels.
• Replace bulbs in underwater light fittings, repair leaks and cracks on customer’s pool surface framework, repair and fit pipes for pools and spas
• General pool cleaning and maintenance of pool water system; pump and filters

Maintenance Technician Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license, with a clear driving record
• High school diploma
• One to two years of general maintenance
• Must own your own hand tools. (Large tools such as drills, saws, etc. provided by the company.)
• Experience as a Pool Technician, A PLUS!
• Have an average knowledge of plumbing, painting, and equipment repairs
• Ability to lift heavy equipment
• Professional appearance
• CPO certification preferred but not required

Wages: Depend on length and type of experience. Regular scaled increases apply!
