We are looking for a reliable and responsible General Maintenance Worker to keep the hotel in good repair with very minimal downtime by providing daily maintenance.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Completing work orders from all departments on a timely basis by following standard procedure
- Respond and attend to guest repair requests
- Perform basic maintenance activities in guest rooms like plunging toilets, unclogging drains, repairing basic hardware/equipment, etc.
- Perform basic maintenance activities in hotel public areas like plunging toilets, unclogging drains, repairing basic hardware/ equipment, etc.
- Test, troubleshoot, & perform basic repair on all general hardware and equipment.
Basic Qualifications include:
- Ability to prioritize and organize work assignments
- Ability to work in under pressure situations and exercise good judgement
- Ability to focus attention to details, speed and accuracy
- Ability to be reliable & work independently
Preferred Qualifications (but not required):
- Plumbing Experience
- Electrical Experience
- HVAC Experience
- Previous Experience working with Laundry Equipment
Pay starts hourly, and starting wage is based on experience.
