Summary:

The Manager, Events supports the Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix Events team with year-round operational functions, oversees various fan experience elements, and assists on the transition from the Miami Open tennis tournament to the Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix. The larger Entertainment and Events team is responsible for the oversight and execution of all live event productions at Hard Rock Stadium for the Miami Dolphins, Miami Open, and Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix. They do this by creating the overall event concept and design, developing the execution plan and timeline, and establishing and overseeing the budget.

Responsibilities:

FORMULA 1 CRYPTO.COM MIAMI GRAND PRIX

• Oversee the full build out and fan experience of one or more fan zones at the Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix
• Accountable for the management of assigned zone budgets
• Create and oversee the timeline for load in and load out for all zones
• Lead the contracted operations team for specific fan experience needs pre- and post-race weekend

• Support the events team with operational needs in preparation for events year-round
• Work with events team Director to develop and implement/enhance systems and processes to ensure consistent, high-quality event management

MIAMI OPEN

• Support the Miami Open events team with the operational transition from the Miami Open to the Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix (power, plumbing, lighting, etc.)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of prior event planning experience required.
• Be a collaborative, passionate, results-oriented person who wants to make a difference.
• Desire to work in a fast paced, dynamic company.
• Strong ability to demonstrate initiative, solve problems, and work effectively under pressure.
• Ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently.
• Flexibility to work unconventional hours, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
