The Manager of People Operations is a driven, results oriented professional who will collaborate on the implementation of day-to-day and high-level HR functions and programs of the People & Culture team. Currently, this position is a hybrid onsite/remote position with three days required onsite.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all aspects of payroll processing
  • Support the implementation of People and Culture programs, including talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, compensation, health and welfare benefits, training and development, records management, employee relations and retention, compliance and labor relations, completing personnel transactions
  • Support development of people and culture solutions by collecting and analyzing information; recommending course of action
  • HRIS management, ensuring data is continuously updated and clean
  • Prepare executive and management reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends
  • Protect organization’s value by keeping sensitive information confidential
  • Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying and staying up to date on existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising Deputy Director of People, Culture, & Operations on needed actions

Role Requirements:

  • 5+ years’ experience working as a Human Resources Generalist
  • Hands-on Payroll experience. ADP TotalSource experience highly preferred
  • Excellent working knowledge of HRIS and payroll systems
  • Strong problem solving, reporting and analytical skills.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Suites including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and SharePoint
  • Clear, strong verbal communication and consulting skills.
  • PHR, SHRM-CP or other HR certification preferred
  • Commitment to the museum’s mission of inclusion

Salary: $70-80k annually
