The Manager of Talent Development and Employee Engagement is responsible for employee experience initiatives across the company, including performance management, corporate training, employee feedback, and companywide activities that support our mission, vision, and values. This includes ensuring the performance management processes, goal setting, individual development plans, and other related activities are completed effectively, consistently, and compliantly. Additionally, this position will lead employee engagement efforts, such as gathering employee feedback through surveys, roundtables, and other ad hoc connections. Other efforts that support a positive employee experience, such as Employee Resource Groups (ERG’s) and company events, will be a focus for this role.

E*SSENTIAL D*UTIES*:
- Manage development and engagement initiatives for the company, including performance management, corporate training, employee feedback, and companywide activities that support our mission, vision, and values.
- Lead the overall performance management process, including preparing applicable timelines, communication, review administration, training, documentation, calibration, and other activities to ensure performance management is administered effectively, consistently, and compliantly.
- Support employees with goal setting by ensuring that performance goals are clearly defined and documented, and that individual development plans are met with solutions to support the ongoing growth of our people.
- Provide continuous improvements and suggestions regarding talent development and employee engagement programs and processes to the head of HR and executive team.
- Support people leaders with training initiatives related to leading teams, having effective 1:1s, and how to best handle feedback conversations.
- Partner with HR counterparts and leaders on succession planning and internal mobility initiatives.
- Responsible for administering feedback connections, such as employee surveys, roundtable discussions, and regular ad hoc conversations for the company to understand and support the needs and suggestions of all employees.
- Ensure the learning management systems and external survey platforms are setup and utilized effectively.
- Create and analyze relevant KPIs, data and metrics and provide recommendations to help guide HR and executive leadership to best position the company’s talent and engagement initiatives.
- Lead employee engagement activities and initiatives, such as Employee Resource Groups, family day events, holiday parties, and other programs in partnership with other stakeholders.

B*ASIC Q*UALIFICATIONS*:
- 5+ years of talent development, employee engagement, training, and/or related experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or relevant field of study.
- Experience utilizing learning management systems (LMS) and administering companywide surveys
- Demonstrated ability to effectively partner with HR cross functional teams, business operations, and other stakeholders within the business.
- Experience supporting exempt and non-exempt populations.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret information, make suggestions, and drive change.
- Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills, time management, and responsiveness.

D*ESIRED Q*UALITIES*:
- Experience and/or strong knowledge of overall HR generalist practices, such as compensation, benefits, talent management, DEI, and HR operations.
- Experiencing developing and/or maintaining relationships with external organizations.
- General project management skills and/or experience launching initiatives and programs.
- Strong proficiency of Microsoft Office suite.
