Manicure/Nail -Cosmetologist Job at Buckeye Global IT Inc
Major Function: This lab technician will be responsible for applying nail products (classic and UV gel) to consumers and evaluating the products’ sensory properties for application, wear/lastingness and removal performance.
Principal Accountabilities:
· Completing training for the assessment of nail attributes for application, wear, and removal
· Preparing consumers’ nails for application by pushing cuticles back, buffing nail plate, and filing edges of nails
· Applying nail products following stated protocol for each study
· Evaluating, using established rating scales, the sensory attributes of nail products when applied to consumers, as well as during wear and removal
· Photographing nails of consumers and preparing photos for reports
· Communicating results from studies to project leader
· Maintaining cleanliness of cosmetology area
Job Requirements:
· Current Cosmetologist license (NJ)
· Excellent team player and interpersonal communication skills
· Must be highly proactive
· Good written and oral communication skills in English
· Minimum of 1 year of salon experience applying classic and UV gel nail products
· Must be highly computer literate and proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Job Type: Contract
Salary: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
