Job Description
Primarily responsible for making new components for the fabrication and repair of tools/fixtures primarily used in the aerospace industry. The ideal candidate will have experience as a tool/fixture maker preferably in the aerospace industry. This position reports to the Manufacturing Manager.
Job Description:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as manual machinist or tool maker.
• Must be self-motivated and be able to work independently or in a group setting.
• Must be able to interpret and make parts from engineering drawings with minimum supervision.
• Must have good working knowledge of Geometric Tolerancing Methodology (GD&T)
• Must be skilled in operating a variety of machine shop equipment, including but not limited to, lathes, milling machines, drill presses, grinders, etc.
• Must be able assemble tools/fixtures as needed.
• Must be able to inspect his/her own work using standard inspections tools.
• Ability to procure material for his/her build as needed.
• Ability to assist other areas as needed.
• Experience with CAD/CAM software highly desirable.
• High School Diploma or GED
