Groomer's Choice is currently searching for a Manufacutring/Production Associate to join our team, working Monday – Friday 7:00AM-3:30PM - no weekends!

Manufacturing Associates assist in filling products which include shampoo’s, conditioner’s, sprays, and topical ointments & creams. They are also responsible for cleaning equipment, totes, drums, and tanks after production runs and will work on our assembly fill line ensuring each product meets our quality standards.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Record production onto production batch sheets.
• Understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Continually maintain plant and work environment for cleanliness and organization.
• Safe operation of equipment including forklifts, drum handling equipment, bottle fillers.
• Working with chemicals, both hazardous and non-hazardous.
• Moving equipment, including tanks, totes, pallets, and boxes.
• Work around strong smells/odors
• Perform a variety of tasks that require manual material handling and the use of box cutters, machinery, and equipment while processing, packaging cosmetic products.
• Clean and sanitizing production equipment, totes, and drums.
• Proactively able to step in to support other team members as needed.
• Supporting the team when packing out finished or semi-finished products.
• Need to have good hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, and attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced, high volume production environment.
• Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

• Entry Level
• Must be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English.
• The ability to lift, bend, push, pull, and move materials up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand on concrete for extended periods of time.
• Must be 18 years of age, have reliable transportation.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
