Position Description: Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Byesville and Cambridge, Ohio area
General Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a fast pace assembly manufacturing environment.
- Capable of working with people at all levels to implement new processes, products, and/or technology that improve product quality or meet customer's requirements.
- Can prepare plant layouts drawings that include process flow diagrams, warehousing and inventory layouts.
- Make recommendations for product design or process changes that improve the product quality and reduce labor content.
- Can investigate, establish, and implement equipment, tooling, fixtures, methods, and automation changes that improve product quality and\or the manufacturing process.
- Can establish labor standards using time study techniques and other accepted methods to establish standard labor.
- Can prepare drawings of fixtures, gaging, and tooling for both in-house and external machine shops.
- Solid works experience preferred.
Specific Requirements:
- Has high degree of knowledge and experience in using lean manufacturing tools to reduce through put time of labor.
- Can lead teams in implementing continuous improvements.
- Can prepare value stream mapping to analysis current and future processes for improvements.
- ERP or SAP preferred.
- Has experience and knowledge in supporting an ISO 9001/13485 quality system; by collecting information or data, writing work instructions, and preforming any other tasks as needed, to maintain system certification.
- Can plan, manage, and implement projects using project management methods.
- Capable of analyzing production process steps to determine most efficient, effective method using the lean toolbox.
- Can recommend and implement plant floor visual manufacturing methods to track KPIs and other relevant data.
Education level:
- Bachelor's degree in industrial, mechanical, or manufacturing engineering. Relevant experience as an engineer in a manufacturing environment can be substituted.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
