Responsibilities include oversight and management for the entire facility, including manufacturing equipment, support equipment, building infrastructure, grounds, including property perimeters. Other key responsibilities:

  • Prepares and executes maintenance management budgets

  • Manages facilities equipment and tooling spare parts inventories to assure operational readiness

  • Uses lean thinking/manufacturing fundamentals to organize workflow, streamline internal processes and minimize equipment downtime

  • Communicates directly with management on status of equipment within the facility

  • Drives team of maintenance technicians, parts coordinator, and automation and controls technicians

  • Support plant programs supporting the operators to create clear communication, understanding and drive to meet location goals

As part of the management team, you will provide reviews as to the status of maintenance and reliability issues in the plant and be accountable for the scope, schedule, and budget of each area of activity. Your focus will include assuring proper work control on preventative maintenance, emergency repair, and equipment modifications. Your focus will also include understanding and participative control of the demand, storage, and use of spare parts inventory. You will support our facility to allow it to grow to the next level of operations and production as we expand our production equipment to include new and modified units. You will provide updates to the leadership team weekly on current and future projects, urgent needs and ensure clear communication on needed support from partnering departments.

Basic Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and 7 years of related experience

  • In-depth hands-on knowledge of facilities and equipment maintenance

  • Solid understanding and experience in troubleshooting factory equipment, mechanical and electrical systems

  • Experience working in high-rate manufacturing facilities operating on a 24/7 schedule

  • Experience in lean manufacturing and maintenance systems

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively lead teams with diverse maintenance/craft skills and backgrounds

  • Ability to prepare presentations and conduct meetings

  • Proven success building and developing the skills and abilities within the maintenance team

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Good working knowledge of AC/DC/Servo Drive Systems

  • PLC Programming Experience
