• Inspectors, chemical operators, and mechanical operators support our manufacturing processes that results in a finished fuel assembly.
• The plant is divided into three fundamental operations.
• Chemical Operations is largely responsible for the process that converts UF6 gas into a powder, which is then pressed into pellets, in addition to running an on-site wastewater treatment facility, since the site reprocesses its own waste before discharging to the river.
• Mechanical Operations which is largely responsibility for the manufacturing of grids, skeletons and other various mechanical components and operations to support the manufacturing of fuel assemblies.
• Quality Control which is responsible for various inspections of manufactured grids, fuel rods, and finished fuel assemblies.

• High school or GED
• Prior manufacturing experience preferred, but not required.
• Candidates must be available to work any shift. The plant operates 24/7.
• Chemical Operator – must be able to successfully pass a pulmonary function and fit test for wearing a respirator
• Inspectors – must be able to successfully pass a vision test with or without corrective lenses
