US Services Marketing Leader


What do you get to do in this position?


The Services Operational Marketing Leader designs, develops and implements marketing plans and digital demand creation activities for US Services which represents in 2022 a total of $ 1B business in US with an ambition of double digit CAGR for the next 4 years.

This role will liaise with country BUs, functions, Service Sales & Global Services business unit, and Global/NAM Marketing. Responsible to build the growth marketing plan, with a 4-years vision/execution roadmap for Services in the US. The plan will be shared and aligned with the country BUs and the Global Services business unit. Ensure the translation of the long-term Field, Digital and Consulting Services strategy into actionable operational marketing plans. Lead the design and the deployment of our Digital transformation from an offer stand point enhancing the field services portfolio with advisor’s suite.

Lead the Installed base tracking initiatives for the country in Greenfield and brownfield sides. Drive an execution plan to transform Install base tracking data into business generation opportunities, feeding sales teams to ensure effective IB monetization. Work closely with the country BUs on the customer platforming and coverage to maximize Service Business opportunities and optimize end user coverage.

Deploy the Global Service offers to the market with the appropriate mix, manages the 4Ps, adapt the value proposition as needed, monitors the success of the offers and the marketing plan. Ensure Services Marcom activities and budgets are aligned with Services ambitions and generate the appropriate ROI. Design and drive the Services Campaign for the country quarter per quarter.


Essential Responsibilities:

  • Build, manage and develop a high performing and results oriented team
  • Drive the country demand generation plan (FSR lead program called TAP, Capex2opex, campaign…) in order to increase the pipeline of opportunities, with a focus on early stages (2-3-4).
  • Build and orchestrate the Annual Marketing and Selling plan within US
  • Create and Deploy the offer roadmap per BU then per market segment with business potential
  • Define the marketing mix (4Ps) of our key targeted offers including price strategy & positioning.
  • Initiate Service offer launch plan according to the global offer launch process and ensure efficient EcoStruxure launch and adoption
  • Define the local Go to Market FS strategy in line with the Country Plan for Global Accounts and Targeted Accounts and FS plan for Proximity accounts and the associated battle plan
  • Define channels programs for both ITD and E&P leveraging partners network
  • Adapt to the local market the Field Service Offers value proposition
  • Articulate the consistency of all Field Service offers all along the life cycles stages, positioning as a top priority the Service Plans (service contracts)
  • Implement corporate communication tools in line with the Asset Management Life Cycle wheel
  • Define plan, execute and monitor the success of the Field Services sales campaigns, targeting segmented customers, with type of activity done per quarter
  • Lead Install Base Traceability plan with execution to reach traceability knowledge targets and generate business opportunities for sales teams
  • Establish privileged links with Global Strategic Account communities to boost Field Services
  • Perform competitive analysis and identify strengths and weaknesses.
  • Manage Field Service offer pricing based on historical data / margin expectations through competitive data and value base pricing
  • Based on Installed Base platforming results, challenge BU/GFS Field service LOB to localize offers requiring product adaptation (local regulation and norms)

Qualifications:

This job might be for you if you have:

  • Graduate degree (preferred) in Marketing or Electrical Engineering
  • 5 – 10 years of relevant experience
  • Good knowledge of Schneider Electric product/services portfolio preferred
  • Experience in building & deploying strategic road maps in a matrixed org
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to internal and external audiences with ability to communicate to C-level customers
  • Demonstrate good understanding of data monetization, digitization / Ecostruxure, and its business applications
  • Soft Skills: leading teams, Influence and Convince & Change Management skills
