Dogtopia of North Austin, the industry leader in dog daycare, boarding, and spa services has an immediate opening for an energetic, organized, sales-minded individual that will assist in our marketing activities and pet parent engagements. As the Marketing Assistant at our location in this part-time role, you are responsible to handle the daily promotional activities of our facility. You can even bring YOUR dog to work with you! What we would expect from you in the role:
- Assistant the Pet Parent Relationship Manager in the daily communication on our social media channels (7 days per week!)
- Broad-based email communication with our database
- Assist our Pet Parent Relationship Manager (PPRM) with event planning and executing those events, both weekdays and weekends.
- Execute the guerilla marketing effort for the center based on the plans of the PPRM
- Engage pet parents that have not recently brought their pup for daycare
- Maintain metrics for all events, including costs and revenue generated
- Ability to summarize and net out results in weekly meetings with the PPRM and GM to ensure communication is consistent and to discuss any potential issues or concerns
- Engage other local businesses to provide them dog daycare services for their employees
- Ability to work afternoons, early evenings and weekends.
Qualifications
- Must love dogs!!
- Sales and marketing experience
- Experience in social media marketing utilizing Instagram, Facebook and TikTok. Have run campaigns in previous roles.
- Experience with graphic art packages such as Canva and Adobe
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Ability to work cohesively with others in a fun, fast paced environment
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong written and communication skills
- Able to work within a structure, but to think and act flexibly when needed
