Job Description:
We are looking for someone to grow with Erik Berg’s team as he continues to take market share and expand his client base. We are seeking a talented, highly motivated, self-starting, creative individual with a passion for connecting with current and future customers through content marketing, social media, event marketing and traditional marketing efforts. The Marketing/Social Media Associate will be responsible for advancing our position in the community and customer experience through online and traditional marketing. This position is charged with accelerating the expansion and use of social media channels as well as to bring a high degree of creativity to our existing methods. While Erik currently has a presence online and on the necessary social media platforms, he lacks a voice, strategy and he himself is missing from posts/stories.
Applicants should have a well-developed capacity for coordinating and implementing marketing communication projects, as well as events, along with responsibilities in social media, public relations, basic graphic design, search marketing, advertising, and brand stewardship. Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within marketing and advertising is critical, while knowledge of real estate functions is a bonus. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
Qualifications:
- Strong working knowledge of the social media applications Instagram/Facebook.
- Understanding of email marketing concepts.
- Blogging and SEO tagging
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize and perform a wide variety of tasks over the course of the workday.
- Motivation, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Organizational and general office skills.
- Previous office administration and/or clerical experience required
- Associates or bachelor’s degree

Job Responsibilities:
Work with a Social Media Strategist to come up with overall strategy and then implement the strategy with posts/stories, etc.
Use of Later.com to create upcoming social media calendars for approval.
Creation of posts/stories on Instagram, Facebook, You Tube, LinkedIn and Google Business
Create list of appropriate #tags for all platforms and use where relevant
Create and posting new listings to our social media accounts
Create & posting EV news/awards
Preparing EV Brand Central postcards, brochures, biz cards /other order requests as needed for Erik Berg
Assist with marketing mail outs to targeted neighborhoods/groups
Pull addresses from Pitkin Assessor website and put together CSV address uploads for Postcards
Upload Youtube Videos and create appropriate caption/tags
Frequent checks of zillow/realtor.com for up to date data feed- past sales, etc.
Create listing presentations with provided materials and insert select pieces that are unique to seller/home
Taking content for blogs (written by copywriter or yourself if you enjoy writing—but not expected) and uploading to Wordpress; adding tags for SEO
Responsible for ensuring that all review requests go to clients after each closing to boost online presence
Taking photos/videos of Erik to post and for stories; his current presence is missing “Erik” because he never has his own photos/videos.
Creating more curated content and filming for upload to YouTube (or coordinating with a videographer where necessary).
Event planning (when events can take place) for clients, mega open houses, neighborhood gatherings (for areas seeking listings), sponsorships with non-profits, etc.
Obtaining and reviewing analytics from Erik’s website/Later.com (social media)/Individual property websites, to recommend necessary changes in strategy
Monitor and enhance “Erik Berg” “Erik Berg Aspen” Online presence
Work with the company Marketing Director on creation of marketing materials/advertisements for print and digital, digital and print brochures, postcards, and campaign assets.
Assist in implementing marketing campaigns
Implement “client for life” strategy and execute the plan to ensure Erik is staying in touch with all his past clients/sphere of influence
Undertake ad-hoc marketing projects
Manage administrative duties
Erik Berg currently has a transactional/licensed real estate assistant to handle most licensed activities. However, there will be non-marketing related tasks that may arise and the expectation is that between you, Erik’s assistant and Erik, you work as a team to make sure all needed tasks are covered to service our real estate clients. This may include staging/showing a property, conducting an open house or running errands.
Hours:
Monday - Friday; 9:00am - 5:00pm
COVID-19 considerations:
We are following Pitkin County guidelines and office capacity restrictions. We are fortunate to have a large office with separate individual offices within it for safety.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 per year
