HGA is in search of a Marketing Assistant who will support the marketing team with planning, executing, and tracking a variety of marketing activities to persuade target audiences and drive engagement with HGA’s brand. This position will work closely with the Marketing Manager, marketing team, Principals/Practice Group Leaders and Business Developers to produce social media content, marketing collateral, coordinate marketing events, and develop marketing campaigns.

In this role you will:
Responsibilities
- Manage the local Instagram account. Working with the Marketing Manager and national Communications team, build out a strategic annual editorial calendar for Milwaukee office. Provide monthly updates to teams on calendar’s evolution.
- Write and edit content for different platforms such as social media, digital presentations, and print collateral.
- Help organize and coordinate marketing events such as conferences, speaking engagements, and tradeshows.
- Manage the coordination of staff headshots.
- Provide support for office photography, being onsite for photoshoots throughout the year, managing models for photoshoots.
- Provide support for award submittals.
- Assist with the production of marketing materials and collateral such as resumes, project sheets, brochures, presentations, and annual Yearbook and On the Boards materials.
- Support the office wide events/campaigns throughout the year, ie. Oktoberfest, 35th Anniversary Campaign, etc.
- Provide administrative and project support for a variety of marketing activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field preferred
- 1+ years of experience in marketing
- 1-3 years of experience in social media
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and Canva.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Superior organizational and time management skills
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with a variety of team members
- Graphic design capabilities a plus
