Marketing Assistant
'Anonymous' is seeking a Marketing Assistant to work with our Sales & Marketing team in Sarasota, FL.
As a Marketing Assistant, you will:

• ¨ Gain real business building and marketing experience in one of the fastest-growing organizations in the country

What You Will Be Doing

• ¨ Support the Sales & Marketing Directors in daily duties
• ¨ Organize and maintain databases and online portals
• ¨ Implement marketing and advertising campaigns by assembling and analyzing sales forecasts
• ¨ Planning and organizing promotional presentations
• ¨ Assist in monitoring active marketing programs and developing ways to improve those campaigns
• ¨ Submit ideas for experimental marketing programs designed to enhance and grow the company brand
• ¨ Coordinates meetings, trade shows, and event seminars
• ¨ Ensures all promotional resources arrive at the events
• ¨ Communicates with prospects to ensure they receive all the details of the upcoming event they are attending
• ¨ Maintains the communication calendar to keep prospects excited about their upcoming event they are registered to attend
• ¨ Monitor and tracks marketing costs by analyzing and entering in sales revenue, marketing expenses, and new business development data
• ¨ Prepares marketing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales data
• ¨ Supports sales staff by providing sales data, market trends, and forecasts
• ¨ Monitors budgets by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
• ¨ Proof-read all marketing material for appropriate grammar, punctuation and spelling
• ¨ Constantly searching for innovative ways to gain greater company exposure

The Ideal Candidate

• ¨ Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite software products (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.)
• ¨ Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills and enjoys talking to people on the telephone
• ¨ Multi-tasker that works well in a deadline-driven environment
• ¨ Currently resides/lives in Sarasota area
• ¨ Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising or related field
• ¨ 2+ years’ experience working in marketing or advertising
• ¨ Self-motivated
• ¨ Self-disciplined
• ¨ Results-oriented
• ¨ Positive, can-do attitude with a keen attention to detail
