This position supports our healthcare professional liability line of business. The selected candidate will be required to report to our Okemos MI office 2-4 times per month to assist with event preparation and order fulfillment duties.
Job Summary:
The Marketing Services Specialist is responsible for providing support services relating to the branding efforts of ProAssurance and the Marketing Department crossing all media spectrums.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
45% - Coordination/Project Management Support:
  • Format layouts for marketing and business development presentations and sales tools, including agent and risk management materials.
  • Research, format, proof, edit, obtain approvals, place vendor orders, oversee necessary shipments and e-mail/other related communications, and document detail for the completed items: insurance applications, forms, market segment maps, newsletters, stationery, business cards, name badges, etc.
  • Request and maintain updated information from Sales on markets’ renewal dates, by state.
  • Maintain Marketing’s SharePoint site through extensive and frequent updates.
  • Maintain Marketing materials’ page on the agent secure portal through extensive and frequent updates.
  • Create loss prevention CME flyers as requested by Risk Resource.
  • Foster strong working relationships with vendors, other business partners, and employees.
45% - Operations and Administrative Support:
  • Act as an administrative and technical support resource for the department.
  • Code related department invoices and process check requests and expenses.
  • Maintain and consolidate, organize, and label Marketing’s extensive logo and e-signatures library.
  • Provide support to Marketing Vice President, Director, and Managers, including maintaining staff calendar online, scheduling monthly update meetings, processing travel expenses, providing budget input.
  • Maintain and update multiple spreadsheets and documents.
Secondary Responsibilities:
10% - Complete additional duties/responsibilities, as directed, including learning and completing the updating process for a point-of-sale piece.
Qualifications:
  • Associates degree in marketing or related field (communications, business, etc.) or minimum of fours years’ experience in those fields in lieu of degree.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Acrobat, InDesign, Illustrator and other in-house information system and software programs (e.g., SharePoint) required.
  • Must possess strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Critical abilities include managing multiple projects to deadline, strong organization skills, and a sharp eye for detail—all while working in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
Position Salary Range
$20.34 - $33.57
