Square Medical Group is currently seeking a full time clinical supervisor to help us launch a new co-occurring day treatment program in our Woburn site. You will provide leadership and management to other graduate level clinicians and interns in the Day Treatment program. Ideal candidates will be experienced working with adults with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. Our team is multi-disciplinary and committed to client centered care and evidence based best practices. QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s degree in a counseling or social work related discipline and LHMC, LCSW or LICSW licensure required.
  • Experience developing and leading therapeutic groups and with milieu therapy
  • Experience working in a team treatment approach in a multi-disciplinary clinical setting.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the diseases of addiction and mental illness, self help recovery principles, harm reduction, trauma informed care, and other evidence based practices in addiction and mental health treatment.
  • Education and training in the special population areas necessary for provision of effective counseling and care management.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct evaluation and intake interviews and assessments, assess client’s presenting problems and formulate diagnoses, make recommendations regarding appropriate treatment.
  • Develop, implement and modify, as necessary, treatment plans and continuing care plans.
  • Provide individual, group, family, couples treatment, as needed and within area of expertise and limits of credentials.
  • Plan and facilitate groups
  • Participate in daily milieu of Day Treatment Program, as assigned.
  • Provide crisis management for patients, as needed.
  • Interact with referral sources and other external providers to insure coordination of client services.
  • Participate in continuing education activities and in-service training programs to remain knowledgeable in area(s) of expertise and to meet credentialing and privileging requirements.
  • Attend meetings as directed and meet with supervisor to receive supervision and participate in clinical reviews.
  • Monitor caseload to assure compliance with third-party payers, including chart reviews, completing pre-certification requests, initial and continuing reviews and authorizations.
  • Provide timely documentation of all services in accordance with SMG standards and regulatory and payer requirements, utilizing electronic formats, as required.
  • Serve as professional mentor and/or clinical supervisor to interns
  • Abide by the professional staff code of ethics and maintain a high level of ethical conduct regarding confidentiality, dual-relationships and professional stature.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • The Clinician reports to the Clinical Director.

Education:

  • Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling or a related discipline

License:

  • LMHC, LCSW or LICSW

Sign up bonus:

  • $2500 at 3 months of employment
  • $2500 at 6 months of employment
