VSI (Vonachen Services Inc), a Vonachen Group family company, is looking to fill a Material Handler on 1st shift in Pontiac, IL.

The Material Handler is responsible for operating industrial power equipment as needed to complete assigned tasks. This person is responsible for maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, providing high quality service levels, adhering to company policies, and assisting to provide a safe working environment. This person must be energetic, enthusiastic, and possess great interpersonal skills to work with a diverse group of people and maintain a strong commitment to customer service.

• Oiling and vacu-sealing parts
• Loading and unloading parts through wash tanks
• Pulling parts from inventory for assembly and stocking parts
• Inspecting parts for defects
• Filling trays with parts
• Other duties include documenting work, part counts, and logs as well as labeling material
• Maintain and clean work area
• Maintain a safe work environment
• Complete other duties as assigned

Skills and Abilities

• Must be 18 years or older
• Must have reliable transportation
• Ability to comprehend and follow instructions, either orally or in writing
• Must follow all health and safety requirements
• Good communication skills
• Customer-oriented and friendly

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED
• Forklift operation training helpful

Physical Requirements

• Stand and walk for long periods of time
• Repeat the same movements
• Frequent bending and twisting
• Able to lift, push & pull 50lbs
• Able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

• Full Time 1st Shift
• 1st Shift- Monday-Friday 6:30a-3p
• $14.25-$14.50/hr
• Must pass pre employment requirements as needed
