The Leonardo DRS Land Systems business is a recognized leader in the design and integration of complex technologies into new and legacy systems and platforms for global military and commercial customers.

Job Summary
Leonardo DRS Land Systems is looking for a Material Handler. The ideal candidate will have at least 2+ years of experience and be able to work Monday through Thursday. Job Responsibilities
  • Load, unload and move materials within or near plant, warehouse, storage facility or worksite
  • Work with the team to improve current system, functions, and daily operations to be more effective and to meet goals
  • Maintain system critical data elements
  • May monitor shipping performance to Delivery Tracking Schedule (DTS) and ensure movement of product from production through packaging to shipping
  • Perform materials analysis and maintains records as required in support of cycle counting operations and performance measurement
  • Read work orders or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved
  • Open containers using steel cutters, crowbar, claw hammer, or other hand tools
  • Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand
  • Load materials into vehicles and installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit, using hand tools
  • Convey materials to or from storage or worksites to designated areas to include the manufacturing floor by use of hand truck, electric dolly, Forklift, or other device
  • Count, weigh, and record materials moved or handled in an ERP system
  • Attach tags or label to materials or otherwise marks information
  • Support, communicate, reinforce, and defend the mission, values, and culture of the organization
Job Responsibilities Part IIQualifications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Forklift/reach truck experience a plus
