We are seeking an individual to join our team as a Material Handler.
Responsibilities:
- Receive inbound material (plywood sheets, hardwood material, cabinetry hardware, etc.) and use forklift to transfer to warehouse.
- Manage warehouse of raw material inventory and maintain organization.
- Restock shop inventory levels weekly.
- Perform weekly inventory counts and report low stock levels to Shop Foreman.
- Transfer material from warehouse to lineside racks based on daily production needs.
- Empty dust collection hopper daily.
- Empty CNC and beam saw trash hoppers daily or as needed.
- Empty all shop/warehouse/external trashcans weekly.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Forklift certification.
- Experience with material handling in a manufacturing environment.
- Superior attention to detail.
- Ability to work an 8-10 hr shift.
