Material Handler/Forklift Operator Job at Alacriant Holdings
Job Summary
To safely operate a fork lift truck to move raw materials, in process goods and finished products to designated areas. Provide all raw materials and packaging materials to work cells. Keep production flow moving to increase productivity. Also to perform shipping and receiving duties when needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- To perform daily fork lift inspection.
- To operate a fork lift safely.
- Must be able to operate a crane safely.
- Must be able to move goods (raw, finished) from one area to another safely.
- Responsible for organizing raw materials, in process, and finished goods.
- Must be able to load and unload coils.
- Responsible for restocking raw materials and in process goods.
- Must be able to package finished product per packaging instructions, for shipment.
- Must be able to load and unload trucks.
- Responsible for maintaining timekeeping records. (In-Process and Final Audit Report)
- Must maintain a safe, clean and orderly work area.
- Wears required safety equipment and follows the safety policies.
- Know the Company “Quality Policy” and “Quality Objectives”. Know what they mean to you.
- Employee is also expected to meet or exceed efficiency goals set forth by the company.
- Must adhere to all company policies.
- Employee is responsible for complete customer satisfaction through their own work. The goal is to reduce variability to achieve zero defects for our products and services while improving efficiencies.
NON ESSENTIAL DUTIES
· Identify and document Continuous Improvement opportunities.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Warehouse Experience: 1 year (Required)
- Forklift: 1 year (Required)
