Material Managment SME Job at SA Technical Services, Inc.
Individual will manage material management activities and systems involved with requirements determination, inventory control and receipt, and storage and issue of supplies and equipment for the 24 Special Tactics Training Squadron. Individual shall create and maintain Master Custodian Authorization/Custody Receipt Listing Jacket files in the Defense Property Accountability System and work closely with MAJCOM equipment management office (CEMO), Special Ops Command Global Logistics Support Center (GLSC), SOF Personal Equipment Advanced Requirements (SPEARS) and Special Tactics Personal Equipment Management System (ST-PEMS). Individual shall compute requiements, inspect and identify property, plan use of storage facilities, coordinate for maintenance on repairable items, receive, issue and restock material as required, utilize the Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) website for purchases, and monitor systems processing and databases. Basically, individual will plan, manage, and coordinate cradle-to-grave life cycle logistics support for the assigned systems and subsystems.
Individual must obtain GOV drivers license to operate government vehicles and equipment (including forklifts).
SECRET Clearance is REQUIRED.
Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years experience as a 7 Level in the USAF (AFSC 2S0X0) or sister service Logistics career field. SOF experience is preferred.
