Coding and Math Instructor
We are looking for fun, smart, and enthusiastic teacher/ tutor for an afterschool Coding (Scratch and Python) and Math in Bonsall.
Perfect opportunity for substitute teachers or Students at CSU.
This is a part-time position, from 2 hours per day on 4 days week in March through May. May extend term beyond for the right candidate/ fit.
Candidates must be available between 2:30 pm and 4:30 pm from Mondays through Thursdays.
Requirements:
� Must be passionate about working with children preferably with elementary age group children.
� Must have reliable transportation/ vehicle.
� Must complete Criminal Background Check (Live Scan) and TB Assessment prior to employment contract.
� Provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or weekly testing (school district's requirements)
Note : Please apply if you can commit for 2 hrs from 2:30pm to 4:30 pm, Monday to Thursday.
Responsibilities:
Please be aware that it is a school environment and the tutor has to be reliable and punctual.
Compensation:
$80 per class OR $320 per week

- Experience in classroom setting and/or have conducted after-school classes in the school environment with younger kids is highly desired.
- Must be able to teach/ tutor Grades: Kinder to 5th on Math and Programming /Coding (Scratch/Python etc.)

- Engage with the students and make the sessions interactive and fun.
- Prepare the lesson plans to work with mixed grade levels.
- Manage student check in and dismissal protocols as laid out by the school/ district.
- Provide parents and employers with report on lessons and student progress, as applicable.

- Additional end of term bonus opportunity for the right candidate
- Additional tutoring hours/opportunities may be available.
