Galaxy Ambulance is now hiring Wheelchair Van Drivers also known as MAVT / MAVO (Mobility Assistance Vehicle Technician / Operator) to transport patients and clients. Full time, Part Time, 12 Hour Shifts and Per Diem positions available. No experience necessary, will train and assist with getting all proper certifications including but not limited to Defensive Driving Course, MAVT Certification, Oxygen certification and First Aid and CPR. *Responsibilities of MAVT / MAVO / Wheelchair Van Driver: * MAVT MAVO drivers are responsible for transporting wheelchair-bound patients as well as Ambulatory patients and patients that may need assistance in getting to and from their medical appointments and / or any other destination. Must have training and CPR certification provided by Galaxy Ambulance. Must have a valid NJ MAVT certification. If you do not have a valid NJ MAVT certification, we can help you with getting certified. Training and certifications may be provided by Galaxy Ambulance. Must be able to lift 125 lbs by your self and 250 lbs with a partner. No experience necessary!
