This 2-year Fellowship is designed for pharmacists to develop skills in the area of pharmacy operations and initiate and maintain a Medication Therapy Management (MTM) program.

The purpose of this two-year Fellowship program is to develop graduate pharmacists in the area of pharmacy operations and medication therapy management by immersing the Fellow into the workflow of the pharmacy floor and medication adherence programs. The operations component includes taking on escalating responsibilities that will cultivate abilities in purposefully assigning work tasks, quickly adapting to new priorities, making fiscally driven decisions, and efficiently resolving problems. Through multiple medication adherence packaging programs and MTM platform, the Fellow will also be able to conduct effective case management, coherent utilization of given resources, and implementation of new processes based on multimodal feedback. In addition, the Fellow will gain experience in teaching within the academic setting at MCPHS University and develop skills to train students, technicians, and employees in the business and community setting. Additional responsibilities, consistent with the fellowship, may be assigned by the supervisor.

Required:

• Completion of an ACPE-accredited Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) Program before July 1 of the current fellowship year.
• Eligibility for licensure in Massachusetts
• Authorization to work in the U.S throughout the duration of the two-year fellowship; no visa sponsorship will be provided.
