Our company is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our team of Meat Cutters. The successful candidate will work with our Butcher to cut and prepare meat products for shipment. The ideal candidate will have prior experience cutting meat products, is familiar with meat industry standards, and has the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Use a meat slicer to slice meat into thin uniform strips.
- Use a meat saw to cut desired cuts of meat.
- Discuss various cuts of meat with customers.
- Provide excellent customer service to customers.
- Understand how to maintain and sharpen the saws.
- Use the computer software to enter information efficiently.
- Cut the meat into thin uniform pieces.
- Chip away fat and gristle from the cut of meat.
- Clean up the work environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary
Pay: $14.50 - $16.00 per hour
