Summary:Assist Mechanic in repairing and maintaining machinery and mechanical equipment by performing the following duties.
Responsibilities: Include the following:
Carries tools and equipment to and from storage and working areas.
Checks all oil levels as required.
- Walks through maintenance and production areas to troubleshoot equipment and pump malfunctions
- Checks for leaks in steam, water, and product lines.
- Checks all conveyors and idlers
- Changes and replaces belts

Performs basic preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Oils and greases machines
- Cleans work area, tools, and equipment
- Possess and maintain a sufficient personal tool supply to perform general maintenance on factory equipment
