Required duties and responsibilities include: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the required duties and responsibilities.

While being overseen by a certified A&P:

• Perform routine inspections and troubleshooting.
• Repair, replace, and rebuild aircraft structures, such as wings and fuselage, and functional components including rigging, surface controls, and plumbing and hydraulic units, using hand tools, power tools, machines, and other equipment.
• Estimate projected man-hours for individual repairs/inspections.
• Accurately complete all required maintenance records.
• Operate all tools and equipment necessary to accomplish a job assignment.
• Present a clean and neat work area to our customers.
• Maintains reliable, regular and predictable attendance.
• Adhere to all Aero Air policies and standards of conduct.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Abilities:

• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to follow the guidance received and perform assigned tasks.
• Must have good communication skills.
• Ability to communicate with the customer is required.
• Need to be Customer Service minded.
• With the oversite of an existing A&P, be able to service, repair, and overhaul aircraft and aircraft engines to ensure airworthiness.
• Read and interpret manufacturer's and airline's maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components.
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds.

Requirements:

• Mechanically inclined and either going to A&P school or have a military background with Aircraft Maintenance experience.
• Willing and able to test for your A&P once eligible.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• High level of initiative and commitment.
• Excellent performance and attendance history.
• Advocate for Aero Air's culture of excellence and customer service.
• Valid U.S./state issued driver's license with clean driving record.
