Mechanical Assembler – 1st Shift (8:00-5:00) 2 openings

· High School Diploma or GED

· Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and skills (someone who works on cars or builds cabinets, and has the mindset of wanting to figure out how things work would be a good fit.)

· We realize that what we do in this department is unique, and any new employee will have to be trained. So, the drive and willingness to learn is an important attribute.

. Exp navigating Solidworks software to retrieve and identify the assembly and drill down into sub-assemblies within the Solidworks software.

· Pay range of $20-$23/hour based on skills and experience.

· OT is consistently available

· We may be able to offer some flexibility in the schedule after a training period

The Mechanical Assembler fits and assembles components according to assembly blueprints, manuals, engineering memos, sketches and knowledge of machine construction to construct, rebuild, and repair machines and equipment, using manual tools and power tools.

The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, including working knowledge of pneumatics and electrical controls. We are looking for someone who likes to “tinker” and problem solve. Great attention to detail and inquisitiveness are necessary.
