The Mechanical Assembler / Machine Builder position works within the assembly and manufacturing departments during build of work cells. This position supports the mechanical engineering and electrical departments. This position is based out of our East Dundee facility and will require periodic travel to our customer locations for installation support
Desired Skills & Experience:
* Willingness to learn
* Proficient use of hand tools.
* Ability to assemble all mechanical/electrical components as per drawings and instructions
* Understanding of electrical and software interfaces of machine tools
* Moderately proficient in PC operation including Microsoft Office
* Some understanding of CNC milling machines preferred
* Ability to work independently and to be cooperative, non-competitive and work well in a team environment
* Position requires moderate to heavy physical activity including Assembly, walking, standing, bending, reaching and carrying loads up to 50 lbs.
Candidates must also be willing to:
* Work flexible hours and occasional overtime.
* Travel 5% to 10% of the time within North America
Additional consideration will be given to those candidates with the following experience or capabilities:
* CNC Programming – (Experience is preferable)
