Job Overview

We are currently accepting applications for an entry level Mechanical Assembly Technician to join our Assembly Department. In this role no two days are the same. Our Assembly Technicians play an integral role in the assembly of our state of the art robotic welding and material handling systems. You will be operating a variety hand and power tools in order to assemble tooling fixtures, cell interior exterior accessories, and assist in the overall build of automation projects. The successful candidate will have experience with basic hand and power tools such as drills, taps and grinders, demonstrate an attention to safety, be highly detail oriented with an eye for quality, and must possess a positive and inquisitive attitude. This position is about growth and will have opportunities in the future as skills and experience progress. Recent high school grads are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Use of hand and power tools
• Drilling, Tapping, and Grinding
• Tool & Fixture assembly
• Basic plumbing and wiring
• Interpretation of mechanical prints and 3D CAD Models
• Use of basic inspection equipment: Calipers, Scales and Tape Measures
• Strict adherence to company safety policies

Qualifications:

• High school diploma/GED is required
• Excellent attention to detail, with an eye for quality
• Must possess strong mechanical skills
• Must possess strong troubleshooting skills
• Must be able to use measuring devices including scales, calipers, micrometers, and tape measures
• Ability to work in a fast-moving team environment
• Ability to pass a prescreen background check and drug test upon hire
