Due to continued growth, Simmers Crane Design & Services, A Flatiron Crane Operating Company is looking for an Mechanic Field Technician to join their highly skilled team. You will be the face of a very reputable organization as you travel to customer owned facilities to inspect, repair, upgrade and maintain their equipment, primarily overhead crane systems. Job Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and repairs on overhead cranes and related equipment at customer facilities.
• Diagnose electrical problems with equipment in heavy industrial manufacturing facilities
• Perform scheduled inspections and preventative maintenance in accordance with applicable guidelines, consulting with customers regarding all noted deficiencies and completing all required paperwork.
• Work as a team with other technicians and project engineers to perform major installations, upgrades, and modifications.
• You will be trained to perform documented safety inspections of specific types of equipment in keeping with OSHA guidelines.
