Media Marketing Manager (Hybrid-On-site)

Eyemart Express is seeking a Media Marketing Manager to support the marketing team at our headquarters in Farmers Branch, TX. This role will be responsible for implementing and measuring media strategies across paid channels, including offline (e.g., TV, Radio) and online (e.g., Search, Digital, Social). Agency experience is preferred as this role will help integrate the partnership between both Eyemart Express and its agency of record.

The Media Marketing Manager will influence strategy and planning for EMX’s stores while collaborating heavily with the senior marketing team. Reporting to the VP of Performance Marketing, the Media Marketing Manager will be expected to have an in-depth understanding of how to optimize media buys for measurable growth (both transactions and revenue) across paid media channels. This person should have experience working closely with agencies and understand the development and execution of integrated marketing programs. This role requires high-level analytical skills, strategic thinking, and excellent inter-personal communication skills.

Position Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

  • Build strong and productive relationships with the contracted media agency, continually assessing and evaluating capabilities and performance.
  • Manage strategic planning for all paid media across EMX stores, looking for experience / knowledge across key media channels including but not limited to TV, OTT, radio, OOH, digital, social, search, etc.
  • Lead the balancing effort of lower-funnel investments with upper-funnel brand equity initiatives necessary for long-term growth
  • Drive reporting and analytics for results across all media channels while delivering actionable insights from data and metrics.
  • Organize media workflows to ensure deliverables and deadlines are being properly communicated with internal and external partners.
  • Functions as a key partner to the marketing brand and creative team to ensure campaign strategy and media best practices are implemented across campaign assets
  • Responsible for working with key stakeholders and business/initiative leaders to understand specific customer, business and communication goals are executed within the context of the overall marketing mix
  • Traffic media assets to agency upon creative release.
  • Actively monitor campaigns in-flight & partner with our media agency on optimizations
  • Manages assessment of competitive landscape to determine strategy and performance
  • Manages invoice approvals based on approved media spends and business needs.

  • Understands the importance of follow-through while executing media planning and budgeting in a timely manner.
  • Familiarity with developing marketing curves/models and general understanding of the use of business intelligence tools
  • Builds relationships while effectively partnering with internal departments, external agencies, and vendors.
  • Hands on Marketer with a strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent time-management skills.

Experience/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field
  • Experience in strategizing, developing, executing, optimizing, and measuring paid media campaigns
  • 3-5 years experience required in Media/Digital (either client-side or agency side)
  • 3-5 years of agency background preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
