**$3,000 Sign-On Bonus for CMA/RMAs**

General Information:

Job title: Medical Assistant/CMA/RMA/LPN

Schedule: Full-time, 80 hours per pay period; Monday - Friday; scheduled between 7:30am-5:00pm (shifts will vary)

Weekend rotation: One Saturdays may be required. (8:00am-1:00pm shift)

Holiday rotation: Clinic is closed on Holidays, Paid

Position Summary:

Patient Care Staff are responsible for facilitating practitioner efficiency and quality patient care, in accordance with organizational policies and procedures and government regulations.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Patient care and assist Practitioners.
  • Chart preparation and documentation using Electronic Medical Record.
  • Stock rooms with supplies, clean rooms, and clean equipment and instruments, and complete any required documentation.
  • Perform lab tests that have been assigned and competency has been complied.
  • Travel to other MBMC clinics and Pods to cover as needed.
  • Schedule appointments, address and mange messages, organize and prioritize patient care based on urgency.
  • Complete all required logs.
  • Other duties as assigned within scope, responsibility, and certification/licensure of position.

Position Requirements:

Minimum Education:

  • Certified Medical Assistant - High school diploma or equivalent and a graduate of an accredited medical assistant program. Current CMA certification or obtained within 6 months of hire from one of the following:
    • American Association of Medical Assistants as a Certified Medical Assistant
    • National Healthcare Association as a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant
    • National Center for Competency Testing as a National Certified Medical Assistant
  • RMA- High school diploma or equivalent and a graduate of an accredited medical assistant program. Current RMA certification or obtained within 6 months of hire from one of the following:
    • American Medical Technologists as a Registered Medical Assistant
    • National Association for Health Professionals as a Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant
  • LPN - certified by an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing course and licensed in the State of Wisconsin. It is the responsibility of the LPN to keep certification current.

Required Skills:

  • BLS within 3 months of hire
  • Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all unties of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or verbal instructions
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concreate variables in standardized situations
  • Basic knowledge of medications
  • Ability to perform basic diagnostic tests
  • Administer immunizations and injections
