JOB SUMMARY:
Under the direction and supervision of the OMP Education and Safety Manager and clinical coaches, the Medical Assistant Trainee observes clinical duties in the OMP outpatient clinics. The MA Trainee may perform non-clinical support duties while in the clinic setting such as turning over exam rooms, stocking supplies, checking outdates, and other duties assigned by clinical oversight. It is the expectation that upon completion of orientation period, MA Apprentice Trainee will transfer to a permanent MAAP position, sign agreement with OMC for apprenticeship enrollment, meet the requirements for the WACMHC apprenticeship program and enroll.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience
Healthcare related job experience is preferred.
Licensure/Credentials
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire, required.
