Major responsibilities

• Send notice of money owed to insurance companies and patients
• Coordinate with numerous working teams to guarantee quality of data and uniformity
• Oversee billing and reimbursement for specific patient accounts
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Medical billing experience preferred
• Solid understanding of customer service
• Accurate, swift, data entry abilities
• Prefer 2 years experience in medical billing or within the revenue cycle
• Healthcare practice management software experience preferred
• Excellent problem solving skills in Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to effectively interact, verbally and in writing
• Strong understanding of explanation of benefits (EOBs)
