Medical Equipment Technician Job at Discount Drug Mart, Inc.
Discount Drug Mart is seeking a Full Time, Medical Equipment, Home Health Care Store Specialist at our Carrollton , OH store location.
We are seeking an individual with some past knowledge of durable medical equipment including the fitting and measuring of compression hose and garments. Commissions paid on some fitted items.
All positions must successfully pass a pre-employment Background Check, Drug Screen and FBI/BCI Fingerprint Background Check. The FBI/BIC test may cost as much as $60 but candidates will be reimbursed with the results are received and the hiring process is completed. The candidate will also have to take the Pharmacy Tech exam.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining inventory of durable medical products in the store
- Providing equipment education to patients
- Performing patient fittings
- Health screenings to our retail customers within the store
- Helping patients select Durable Medical Equipment as well as billing the product
