We're looking for someone to join our team as a Medical Screener who:
Performs temperatures and ensures questions are answered regarding illness prior to entering a facility. Provides instructions overseen by Employee Health to visitors or staff that do not meet recommended criteria for entering facility. Documents information as appropriate and required by Public Health ensuring confidentiality. Reports to Employee Health any concerns regarding process.
Essential Functions:
- Follows direction from Employee Health Nurse to take temperatures of those at entry to the facility along with completion of screening questions.
- Provides instruction developed by Employee Health Nurse as to next steps if individual fails to meet criteria for entry.
- Protects individual confidentiality as prescribed by Adventist Health following local, state and federal mandates.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
You'll be successful with the following qualifications:
Education:
- High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred
Required Licenses/Certifications:
- Confidentiality training along with form completion: Required
