Medical Scribe Job at AFC Urgent Care Denver

We are looking for a friendly, energetic, motivated person with medical knowledge as a Scribe for our Urgent Care Clinics.

Primary Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
- You will be a scribe for many different types of medical providers including MDs, DOs, PAs, and NPs.
- Tasked with creating an accurate and detailed medical chart in our EMR from start to finish for providers.
- Fast typing speed. No WPM requirement.
- Document any medical data as directed by providers.
- Cross-training and Perform all other duties as assigned by the provider. Perform other clerical tasks that optimize efficiency.
Must also have:
- Basic knowledge of med terms, anatomy, physiology, and medications.
- Excellent active listening skills. You will be required to listen to multiple people talking, gather your own thoughts, and record them at the same time.
- Strong clinical skills and work ethic.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- High School Diploma or Transcript.
Must be available from 8:00am - 8:00pm Thursday, Friday, and Saturday OR Sunday, Monday, Tuesday.
There is NO WPM requirement.
Monthly bonus opportunities: +$3.00 / hour
Job Type: Full-time
