Job Description
A successful Medical Scribe is an essential member of a high functioning healthcare team responsible for documenting the details of a physician/patient encounter. The person in this position will rotate between all 3 clinics which are located in Sacramento, Roseville and Folsom. This is a part-time position 6-8 hours per day, two or three days a week.
Job Responsibilities
- Accurate and thorough recording of medical visit and procedures
- Collect, organize and catalog data for physician quality reporting systems
- Identify mistakes, inconsistencies in documentation making appropriate corrections
- Increase the efficiency and productivity of the physician
- Must be discreet, subtle and tactful in performance of duties
Skills/Qualifications
- Must possess 1-3 years progressive scribe experience
- Proficient typing, spelling, punctuation, grammar and oral communication skills required
- Ability to apply logic and develop conclusions based on knowledge
- Ability to listen to complex medical details and summarize in a clear and concise manner
- Bilingual language skills, Spanish preferred
- Ability to demonstrate good judgement, organizational ability, initiative and attention to detail
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
