Job Description: This is a traveling Medical Transport Driver 1099 Contractor position. Driver's willbe responsible for driving a Sprinter/ProMaster style vann to patients appoinments. Must be willing to travel all over the United States, excluding Hawaii and Alaska, for several days and/or weeks at a time.

Job Purpose: The primary responsibility of the Medical Transport Driver (Long Distance / Non-emergency) is to work as a team with the other driver to provide safe state to state transport with patient and family onboard.

Job Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

• Driving medical transport van across long distances safely.
• Coordinate driving shifts and vehicle inventory with another driver and medical crew member
• Documentation of daily log for each trip.
• Completing a PM inspection daily
• Able to use a smart phone for driving directions and submitting documentation
• Keeping the driver bed and driver/passenger seating area neat and clean
• Assisting medical staff member as needed
• Checking inventory of supplies and equipment. Reporting any supply shortages or equipment malfunctions immediately to lead driver/office
• Accommodate needs of family members if accompanied
• Suggest changes to office task workflow in order to improve efficiency
• Uphold and carry out company office policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Must be age 25 and over
• High school degree or equivalent
• Prefer some cross country road driving experience
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• 7-year clean driving record
• Flexible schedule
• Able to travel and be on the road for multiple days
• Work as a 1099 independent contractor

Compensation and Benefits:

• Pay is $250 per day
• Daily Meals are covered
• Travel and accommodation Expenses are covered (if needed): Hotel and Flights
