Are you an outgoing, self-motivated and team-oriented person? Join our team and visit with insurance agencies across the state telling them why they should be a member of the Missouri Association of Insurance Agents (MAIA) and utilize the associations products and services.

• Have sales experience or a desire to meet new people and try your hand at sales?
• Enjoy variety in your work and getting away from your desk?
• Have experience in the insurance industry in any capacity (producer, CSR, support staff, etc.)?
• Have a background with trade associations?

MAIA is the largest and most effective insurance agent trade association in the state. Our members are independent agencies in Missouri. MAIAs main focus is to educate, promote and advocate for independent agents and their clients.

Salary Range: $37000.00 - $47000.00 per year

• Total compensation: $37,000 - $47,000; includes base salary of $37,000 - $42,000 plus potential for incentive bonuses

Approximately 70% of your time will be spent:

• Making phone calls to current members to promote products and services.
• Making phone calls to prospective members to sell MAIA membership, as well as products and services.
• Visiting member agencies and promoting products and services.
• Visiting prospective members to sell MAIA membership, as well as products and services.

About 30% of your time will be spent:

• Administering continuing education classes in various locations around the state, as well as online webinars. This will include handling attendee registration/check-in, being the on-site hotel and speaker contact, and handling pre- and post-class communication and paperwork.
• Attending and assisting with promotion of MAIA events.

Most of your time will be spent in our Jefferson City office reaching out to members and prospects via phone. Some in-state travel is expected, the amount of which is flexible; company vehicle provided. Extensive training will be provided.

The Missouri Association of Insurance Agents is the largest and most effective insurance agent trade association in the state. The association's goal is to educate and inform the state's professional independent insurance agents, promote high standards of conduct among its members, and represent the interests of its members and their clients in legislative, regulatory and judicial arenas.
