Salon 3636 is a woman-owned small business in West Lake Hills (Austin), Texas. We are inclusive, supportive, and collaborative, and our goal is to provide you with an upscale platform that will help you grow your own business.

We have an immediate need for a men's stylist to meet current demand for men's services. While the demand is not enough to keep you busy full time, it it will serve as a substantial supplement to your current book of business.

We understand that making the jump from commission stylist to running your own business is not without risk, particularly if you aren't already working in the West Lake area. Salon 3636 presents a unique opportunity for you to make that transition with our support. The salon is under new ownership, has a new name, and has been completely updated. We are already seeing an influx in new clientele, which would be available to you. We will also be holding a daytime and evening open house later this month or in early October to invite the community to see our beautifully curated space, and we anticipate those events will bring even more new clients.

Established salon location under new ownership in West Lake looking for three to four local hair stylists with existing Austin clientele to enter into a booth rent agreement. Salon 3636 is located in the heart of upscale West Lake Hills and very central to many north, south, and central Austin neighborhoods. We are conveniently located on Bee Caves Road and have ample parking.

We are looking for experienced stylists who want to offer their clientele an intimate luxury boutique salon environment. Stylists must have existing clientele, but we offer joint marketing opportunities to help you grow your business. This is an exciting opportunity for you to have your own business without incurring any of the start-up costs associated with opening your own salon or renting a salon suite.

We prefer stylists with a minimum of 3-5 years experience in an upscale salon environment but will consider any applicant. We offer booth rent only and are not considering commission stylists at this time. Booth rental is not employment and all of our renters are self-employed. Renters are required to provide proof of small business liability insurance and professional liability insurance. This type of coverage is very affordable, and we can help connect you with an agent if needed.

The weekly rent ($350) includes the following amenities: fully stocked back bar (styling and shampoo); abundance of towels, robes, and capes; weekly cleaning service; client beverage service; website; online booking system; and security system. Salon 3636 is partnered with Davines, a sustainable luxury haircare brand based in Italy. We offer our stylists a generous commission on all retail sales. You set your own prices for your services, but we do have pricing minimums as it is important we maintain our high-end brand. But this means your annual earning potential is completely within your control.

Salon 3636 is a smaller boutique salon, so stylists must have a positive attitude and be willing to work in a team environment (aiding in cleaning duties and overall salon customer service). Our reputation is critical to our success, so professionalism is an absolute must. Our stylists must be comfortable with COVID protocols if they become necessary, such as required masking for stylists and clientele, capacity restrictions, and thorough sanitation protocols.

At Salon 3636, our goal is to empower our stylists to achieve their business goals. We encourage our stylists to come to us with marketing and education opportunities and other suggestions for how we can support their businesses.

**Salary range provided is an estimate only and will vary depending on your pricing and how much you decide to work.

COVID-19 considerations:
We require strict adherence to standard salon sanitation practices and have the salon deep cleaned on a weekly basis. Should heightened COVID precautions become necessary, we will implement masking requirements and capacity restrictions.
