MES Data Analyst (manufacturing) Job at ConMet

The MES Data Analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams to build and maintain analytical reports for ConMet’s manufacturing operations. This role will be a key conduit between the operations, engineering, and development teams, to provide key insights for driving improvements across our manufacturing operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the MES Development and Digital Business Systems Teams to build & maintain data sources
  • Build and maintain interactive Business Intelligence (BI) dashboards
  • Work with end-users to provide data insights for continuous improvements projects
  • Train end-users on new reports and dashboards
  • Work with end-users to verify data accuracy

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Mathematics, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, or related fields preferred). Note: Candidates without a Bachelor’s degree who have 3+ years of progressive data analytics/visualization may also be considered
  • 1+ years’ experience with data analytics and statistical methods (SPC, Regression, etc.)
  • Familiarity with BI Tools (Tableau, SQL Server Reporting Services, Power BI, etc.)
  • Experience with SQL and relational databases a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
