This position is located at the Red Rock Job Corps Center, in Lopez PA. This is a year-round residential campus.

The Job Corps' mission is to help young people ages 16 thru 24 to improve the quality of their lives through vocational and academic training aimed at gainful employment and career pathways. The Red Rock Job Corps is looking for an Academic Instructor to teach students general studies and help our students obtain their high school diplomas or GEDs.

HOURS: Mondays thru Fridays 7:45 am to 4:45 pm; OFF Saturdays & Sundays

POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for providing instruction and training to students in the Career Education Center; Develops individual achievement plans and academic goals to ensure student academic achievement in the program; Works with the CTT Instructors to infuse applied academics into CTT curricula to enhance student learning and success; Ensures strict confidentiality of sensitive information and integrity of student data

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school is required. A valid in-state teaching certificate or waiver for currently obtaining one is required. Previous teaching or Job Corps experience preferred.
