Innophos is seeking a Millwright for our Chicago Heights, Illinois plant to perform the repair, adjustment, and preventive maintenance of all plant equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for performing the repair, adjustment, and preventive maintenance of all plant equipment (electrical, stationary and mobile)
- Assist other skilled craft employees in repairs, as needed
- Perform the duties as a member of the Emergency Response Teams and Confined Space Rescue Teams
Required Education and Experience
- GED/High School Diploma or higher
- Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in repairing and maintaining production equipment
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Thorough knowledge of electrical and mechanical trades:
- Welding - oxyacetylene (arc)
- Pipefitting
- Machining
- Auto Mechanics
- Machinery repair
- Equipment operations
- Capable of safely working on tasks independently and with others
Environmental and/or Physical Requirements
Work is performed in the plant as well as the maintenance shop. There are frequent physical demands associated with this position, including regular lifting (some heavy), stair climbing, squatting working in extreme temperatures, handling tools, etc.
