Spiffy offers mobile and fixed-site car washing, detailing, high-volume oil change, tire rotation, and other maintenance services to fleets, residences, and office parks from coast to coast. The company does all technology development, marketing, and sales in-house.

WHAT DOES AN ASE CERTIFIED TECHNICIAN DO?

• Performs necessary repairs identified during inspection process
• Train and supervise new technicians
• Perform quality control inspections in the field
• Performs equipment inspections;
• Rotate tires and check, Steering Suspension and Brake System components
• Communicate effectively with management;
• Build positive relationships with employees and customers;
• Other duties as assigned

Must Have:

• Must be over 21 years old
• Current ASE Certifications
• Self-directed with a high level of energy
• Interested in accuracy and doing what is right
• Be a team player, hardworking, and honest
• Be on time to work and reliable
• Basic computer and math skills, tech-savvy with a smartphone
• Reliable transportation with a valid driver's license and be 25 years of age
• Must be comfortable with working outside in occasionally hot, cold, or dirty
• conditions
• Must be able to stand on hard surfaces for extended periods

Nice to have:

• Customer service experience
• Master ASE Certified
• Fleet experience (rental cars, trucks, etc.)

WORKING CONDITIONS:

This job will involve occasional exposure to some disagreeable elements such as hot and cold temperatures, loud noises, dust/dirt and exhaust fumes. Must be able to work in extreme conditions such as hot and cold weather.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Must be able to stand on hard surfaces for extended periods;

• Must be able to lift and move inventory items and other work-related items (up to 50 pounds);
• Must be able to work at a rapid pace for long periods;
• Must be able to push, pull, bend at the knees and waist, lift, twist body at the waist, raise and hold arms overhead, turn head-neck-shoulders as needed, climb steps, grasp and hold tools and other items with hands, all of this for either extended periods of time or many times throughout the day.
