Career Opportunity: Mobile Maintenance Facilities Technician with tdg Facilities in Atlanta, GA

tdgFacilities is looking for a full-time Mobile Maintenance Facilities Technician to help serve our fast-growing client throughout Atlanta. This role requires knowledge of building maintenance and will be required to perform corrective, preventive, and routine repairs & maintenance on retail buildings and auto shops. Responsibilities would include electrical, plumbing, HVAC, bay door, entry door, drywall, paint, pressure wash, carpentry and more. Building audits and inspections may also be required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan and perform general building maintenance to ensure facilities, equipment and mechanical systems are properly functioning

• Diagnose mechanical issues, source materials and complete repairs of miscellaneous building equipment

• Electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building maintenance experience and knowledge is required

• Drywall, painting, lock repair and bay door & entry door repair experience and knowledge is a plus

• Perform thorough building inspections and recommend repairs needed

• Assist in store setups and conversions

• Work with operations team to ensure preventive, on demand, and special projects are being completed in a timely manner

• Work courteously with coworkers and clients

• Maintain and use equipment safely and properly

• On call/afterhours calls may occur

• Maintain truck stock and inventory within company guidelines

• Use phone, tablet, or computer to modify and monitor work order management system

• Travel to other cities/states may be required

• Other tasks as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience

• Detailed knowledge of trades skills, best practices and materials

• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Keen eye for detail
• Highly organized
• Excellent time management skills
• Effective communication skills
• Great attitude
• Must be able to pass background checks, drug screening
